The history of Gdańsk captured in a beer bottle

Did you know that centuries ago in Gdańsk there were over 400 microbreweries? Gdańsk is therefore rightly considered the beer capital. If you are interested in the history of the amber beverage, this package is for you. Combine your stay in Gdańsk with a visit to the Gdańsk Hotel brewery, where we brew the best beer in Poland. During the beer seminar, you will learn many interesting stories and “beer tidbits” from the field of brewing culture, including trivia about Jan Heweliusz, who was not only a well-known astronomer, mathematician, and scientist. As the most distinguished Gdańsk brewer, he was famous for the excellent beer he brewed himself. He was also the owner of several breweries. Heweliusz came from a family that had been exploring the secrets of brewing for generations. There is a legend that says his grandson stored malts for brewing Joppe beer in the granary “Góra”, which currently houses the Brovarnia Hotel Gdańsk.

The package includes:

• 2 nights in a double room in the historic Granary
